About the role

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to own our voice across platforms and grow a community of dog lovers who trust Happy Day Pets. You'll set the strategy, lead the content calendar, and turn our warm, honest brand into a following that sells. You live online and know what makes dog people tap, share, and buy.

What you'll do

  • Own social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging channels.
  • Plan and manage the content calendar end to end.
  • Grow followers, engagement, and community in an authentic, on-brand way.
  • Brief and collaborate with content creators, ambassadors, and influencers.
  • Track performance and report on what's working (and what isn't).
  • Stay ahead of trends and jump on relevant moments fast.
  • Partner with ecommerce and retail teams to support launches and promotions.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years managing social media for a brand (DTC or CPG a plus).
  • Proven track record of growing engaged audiences.
  • Strong sense of brand voice — warm, upbeat, honest, dog-loving.
  • Comfort with analytics and turning data into decisions.
  • Excellent writing and visual storytelling instincts.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving small team.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the pet or food space.
  • Hands-on content creation skills (shooting, editing).
  • Familiarity with TikTok Shop and social commerce.

Compensation: Depending on experience.
