About the role
This is a hands-on role for someone who can both create scroll-stopping content and keep our channels humming day to day. You'll shoot, edit, write, and post — turning treats, dogs, and behind-the-scenes moments into content people love. If you think in hooks and reels and get a thrill from a post that pops off, read on.
What you'll do
- Create photo and video content for TikTok, Instagram, and more.
- Shoot and edit short-form video on a quick turnaround.
- Write captions in our warm, honest, dog-loving voice.
- Schedule and publish posts and keep the calendar on track.
- Engage with comments, DMs, and our community daily.
- Capture content at the office, events, and with featured dogs.
- Support the Social Media Manager on campaigns and trends.
What we're looking for
- 1-3 years creating content for social media.
- Strong short-form video shooting and editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, etc.).
- A good eye for visuals and a sharp sense of trends.
- Solid copywriting and a feel for brand voice.
- Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple posts at once.
- Genuine love of dogs and enthusiasm for our brand.
Nice to have
- On-camera comfort and presenting skills.
- Experience with pet or food content.
- Basic graphic design (Canva, Photoshop).
Compensation: Depending on experience.
