About the role

As a Customer Experience Associate, you're the warm, helpful voice of Happy Day Pets. You'll answer questions, solve problems, and make every dog parent feel cared for — turning customers into loyal fans. If you're empathetic, organized, and genuinely love helping people (and their dogs), you'll thrive here.

What you'll do

  • Respond to customer questions via email, chat, and social with warmth and speed.
  • Resolve order, shipping, and product issues end to end.
  • Process returns, replacements, and refunds per policy.
  • Share honest, helpful product and ingredient info.
  • Flag recurring issues and customer feedback to the team.
  • Help maintain help-center content and canned responses.
  • Keep customer records and tickets accurate and up to date.

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years in customer service or support (ecommerce a plus).
  • Excellent written communication and a friendly, on-brand tone.
  • Empathetic, patient, and genuinely helpful.
  • Organized and able to manage many conversations at once.
  • Comfortable with help-desk and ecommerce tools.
  • Love of dogs and enthusiasm for our products.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Shopify and help desks (Gorgias, Zendesk, etc.).
  • Experience supporting a DTC or pet brand.
  • Social media community management experience.

Compensation: Depending on experience.
